Magnesium is a chemical element with the symbol Mg and atomic number 12. It is the ninth most abundant element in the universe. Magnesium oil is a solution of magnesium chloride which is recognised as one of the most powerful and versatile medicines/medicinals in the world. It is not a true oil even though it feels oily on the skin. Delivering medicine transdermally (Spray onto the skin) is one of the best ways of administering medicines quickly and effectively.
Transdermal application of magnesium oil is easy and allows the magnesium to be absorbed directly through the skin and into the bloodstream quickly. The traditional method of administrating medicine such as tablets or capsules become much less effective due to the stomach acids and digestive enzymes and the additional processing by the liver. By bypassing the stomach and liver means that a much greater percentage of the active ingredient, magnesium, goes straight to the bloodstream where it is needed. The transdermal application also avoids the potential side effects such as stomach upset or drowsiness. Magnesium is often not well absorbed by the digestive tract and is even more difficult to absorb if you are deficient or are low in vitamin D, have poor gut bacteria or suffer from a number of other conditions. On top of that, most foods are depleted of their natural magnesium levels and most water supplies are also lacking magnesium.

Early signs of magnesium deficiency include loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and weakness. As magnesium deficiency worsens, numbness, tingling, muscle contractions and cramps, seizures, personality changes, abnormal heart rhythms, and coronary spasms can occur. Too much magnesium from food does not pose a health risk in healthy individuals because the kidneys eliminate excess amounts in the urine.
